The February Lewisburg Area High School newsletter highlights key February–March events and outlines the 2026–2027 course scheduling process, which is starting earlier this year to give students and families more time to review options and make thoughtful course selections. It also includes important information about National Honor Society eligibility and timelines, dual enrollment opportunities, testing, career exploration, graduation details, and major upcoming dates.

Acting Pennsylvania Education Secretary Dr. Carrie Rowe visited Lewisburg Area High School to highlight how the state’s new budget — which includes over $900 million in added education funding — is already strengthening programs, staffing, and student services. Guided by student leaders, she toured classrooms, praised the school’s strong performance, and emphasized how real-world feedback from students and educators helps shape statewide education policy.

Lewisburg Area High School wraps up the first quarter and looks ahead to a busy November filled with student activities, performances, and special events. From the Fall Play As You Like It and athletic championships to career exploration opportunities and the upcoming Veterans Meet-and-Greet, there’s something for everyone at LAHS!

The Lewisburg High School Marching Dragons are lighting up the field this season with their show, “The Best of Bruno Mars,” featuring hits like 24K Magic, Locked Out of Heaven, and Uptown Funk. Led by drum majors Madeline Lesher and Tyson Nicholls, the 86-member band showcases the hard work and dedication of both veteran and first-year marchers.

The October 7 Lewisburg Area High School update highlights Homecoming week celebrations along with important academic and event announcements, including College Night, PSAT and AP exam registration, and Financial Aid Night. It also provides key dates for senior events, winter sports, and college visits to help students and families stay informed and involved.

Students in select courses at LAHS will be able to earn dual enrollment credit with Lackawanna College. Registration for these credits will be on November 13th during Advisory. For questions specific to your student's post-secondary plan, please reach out to your child's school counselor.

Lewisburg Area High School shared updates on upcoming events for late September and early October, including picture retakes, senior portraits, yearbook orders, and homecoming activities. Families can also review Open House presentations, attend the French virtual meeting, and access the updated school profile.

Free athletic physicals and fall sports meetings will be held July 29. Laptop distribution is scheduled across late July and August. New student and 9th-grade orientations are in August. Families must complete PowerSchool updates to access schedules (available August 5). Schedule change requests open August 6. Student parking registration is now available online.
