Going Green

Menus

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. All meals, foods and beverages are prepared and served by qualified child nutrition professionals. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

Lewisburg Area School District would like to welcome all students to the school breakfast and lunch program. Here at Lewisburg, Michael Jones is the Food Service Director with an office in the Business Office. We are all working together to provide a well-balanced breakfast and lunch meal for your student.

The Lewisburg Area School District utilizes a debit system called eTrition for payment of school meals. The following outlines how the program works:

  • Every student has an identification number.
  • Every student has an account in the cafeteria that can be accessed by a PIN pad.
  • At meal time, the cashier rings in the transaction, the student enters their ID number in the PIN pad, which accesses their account. If there is money in the account, the purchases are deducted, eliminating the need for students to carry money to school with them every day.
